We are all different…Just like our fingerprints. What works for Jane Doe may not work for you or even her sister and vice versa. Therefore, its extremely important to work with our bodies unique blueprint and listen to our bodies response to exercise and food.
While some fitness regimen are known to be effective, it’s important to note that it may not give you the desired results. For example should you do more cardio or less? If you are unsure try experimenting with more cardio days and see how that works. Furthermore, you must take into consideration your body type while noting the associated expectations and limitations.
There are generally 3 body types; Ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph. Each of these body types a uniquely shaped and thrive on specific types of exercise as well as nutrition. This is why it’s important to take out the guesswork and begin to move and eat based on a prescription. Just like a doctor prescribes specific drugs for specific symptoms, we believe exercise and nutrition should be handled similarly.
When starting a fitness regimen, you need to identify your goals and then proceed to ask yourself the following questions:
- Does this regimen specifically address my current needs and goals?
- Is it appropriate for my age and fitness level?
- Does it address my physical limitations, range of motion and past injuries?
- Is in line with my future goals?

An Individualized Training Programme (ITP) takes into account your age, fitness level, health history, past injuries, physical limitations, nutritional habits, body fat, training history and specific goals. They also include range of motion, flexibility and stability evaluations. If you want to eliminate the guesswork or experimentation from your regimen ask us how you can be signup for our ITP.
No matter what regimen you are following note that you must be consistent, you must be patient and you must trust the process.
